A family story..
A family business where three generations have succeeded one another: Mr and Mrs HUEZ Jean-Louis and Suzanne, Mr HUEZ Jean-Luc and Mrs HUEZ Ludivine.
*1961: Opening of a bar in the roadside building which very quickly became a "roadside" restaurant called La Croix Cadeau.
* 1978: Opening of a gourmet restaurant in the mill vent.
*1986: Construction of the first phase of the 2-star hotel.
*1992: Opening of a large room adjoining the mill, which will accommodate groups (up to 50 people)
*1993: First extension of the hotel with 14 superior rooms, 2 seminar rooms and a heated outdoor swimming pool.
*2003: Transformation and renovation of the "roadside" restaurant in Brasserie.
*2014: Complete renovation of the hotel with upgrade to 3*** and addition of a second extension to the hotel with 11 high-end rooms.
*2016: Creation of a wellness area at the hotel, open to all.
*2021: Renovation of the brasserie and the seminar room
*2023: Creation of two Prestige rooms with private jacuzzi
* 2025: Expansion of the wellness area (3 treatment rooms including one for two, 10-seat indoor jacuzzi, hammam, sensory shower, sauna)

A vision of more sustainable hotel and catering
The Domaine du Moulin Cavier has chosen to actively contribute to the preservation of the environment. Aware of environmental issues, we are committed to a sustainable tourism approach to reduce our ecological footprint as much as possible.
Our establishment was certified Ecolabel in July 2024.
This demarcation attests to our efforts to reduce our impact on the environment and a commitment to long-term.
In order to limit our footprint, we encourage our employees to take awareness-raising actions on eco-friendly actions such as sorting, energy savings and more.
We encourage our customers to continue these efforts and to make any suggestions that could contribute to improving our environmental approach and we remain at your disposal.

The Hotel: every Sunday from October to March.
The Gastronomic Restaurant: from Tuesday, December 24, 2024 inclusive to Monday, January 6, 2025, reopening on January 7 for evening service
The Brasserie: every Sunday evening from December to May, Tuesday, December 24 lunch and dinner, Wednesday, December 25, 2024 lunch and dinner, Tuesday, December 31, 2024 dinner, Wednesday, January 1, 2025 lunch and dinner.
